Required Installations on Steps in Beta!

• Require installations of mBOM items when developing your procedures that prevent execution from completing the step until the required installations are made.

Nested Standard Steps and Nested Step Functionality in Beta!

• Infinitely Nest Steps: Introduced the ability to nest both standard steps and regular steps infinitely within workflows, allowing for the creation of comprehensive dependency graphs.
• Control the Start of Run Steps: Coming soon, place specific standard steps on hold until all necessary instructions are correctly versioned, allowing you to account for the work in procedures while preventing the start of incomplete instructions on runs. Whenever the standard step is released properly, any run that calls out the standard step will be available to work.

Note: Both Required Installations and Nested Steps are in Beta and we are working to move customers off of the waitlist incrementally over the next few weeks. This gives us the ability to iterate on the features quickly, iron out bugs, and improve the overall experience before rolling out to a wider audience. Other Improvements

• Redlining a child step no longer redlines a parent step. In addition, parent steps will show when any child step is in redline.
• When printing a barcode, choose how many labels to print

Supply Chain

• Cost-Based Purchase Order Approvals: Set up and automate purchase approvals based on cost thresholds using ION's roles and team settings. Approvals can now be triggered at various dollar amounts to streamline purchasing processes.

• ‍Supplier Part Numbers and Purchase Unit Conversions: Create relationships between ION parts and the suppliers you source them from! Automatically convert units when receiving items from those suppliers.

• PO Alias: Populate the external reference field in ION and surface that ID everywhere in ION for that PO.
• Duplicate an existing purchase order into a new draft purchase
• The Draft watermark on Purchases remains until the purchase is approved
• Coming Soon: Purchase any type of good including those that are non-receivable such as services and software
• Coming Soon: The ability to archive parts, so no inventory, purchasers, or others are created for them going forward

Quality

• Select Reviewers Based On Team Roles: Users who inherit roles through team assignments can now be selected in issue resolution and approval workflows directly from the picker. This update enables faster issue ownership by assigning a single point of accountability, while still allowing mass team notifications when needed.
• Command Bar Navigation Fix: Navigation via the command bar to issues and further actions has been fixed. (Stay tuned for more command bar navigations options!)
• Inventory Navigation Fix: You can now reliably navigate to specific part inventory items from the issue’s inventory section to view more details without interruption.

Autoplan

• MOA (Made on Assembly) Support: Autoplan now includes the MOA assembly in the results instead of skipping over it. MOA items are tagged with a "Placeholder" within the plan results.

Platform

• When printing barcodes, a webhook is now generated.
• Coming Soon: Archive Roles so they are no longer used
